First, a little background:

Our web design client Childrens Learning Garden is an Islamic daycare and Montessori school located in Mississauga, ON Canada. They are a vibrant and passionate organization whose vision is clear: to provide engaging Islamic and secular education in a fun, nature-filled environment.

The Challenge:

Before we began working together, the CLG website focused on the aspect of gardens and growing. The color palette emphasized a variety of greens, and images were of plants and nature.

While relevant, the client felt the site wasn’t doing justice to the energy, movement, and joy of childhood learning they wanted to showcase.

Frankly, it felt a little bland…

The Solution:

When Shazia Afzal, owner of Children’s Learning Garden, reached out, she knew she needed help.

“It was technically a dead website. I needed someone to bring it back to life. I realized that I am not able to do everything by myself. I should focus on what I am good at and let those who are good at website and marketing take care of my website.”

So she had a lively logo designed, then came to us for a refresh of the website. She shared her enthusiasm for a joyful image. And we knew right away what we needed to do. We used the colors from the new logo and worked together with Shazia to make the CLG website a clear and inviting picture of everything the business stands for.

Bold colors, friendly images of children having fun, and an easy-to-follow layout were the solutions Children’s Learning Garden was looking for!

The Results:

Today, as we’re coming to the end of this project, the Children’s Learning Garden team is happy with their new look! It showcases their love for childhood imagination and invites their readers to learn more about what they offer.

So instead of having their website only reflect a small part of their mission (the garden to represent growth), the Children’s Learning Garden site is now a flourishing image of their total program and vision.
